How to Get a Ring Size Measurement

There are two methods you can use to get a measurement for your ring size.

Method 1: If you currently have a ring that fits well, measure its inner diameter with a ruler. Compare the measurement with a ring size conversion chart to obtain your ring measurement.

Method 2: Use a relatively stiff piece of thin rope and wind it around your finger, marking the point where the rope goes around your finger completely, forming the circumference of a ring. Compare that measurement to a ring size conversion chart to obtain your ring size.

Tips for Better Ring Measurement

  • When measuring your finger, be careful not to measure too tightly or loosely. Your ring should ultimately be tight enough not to fall off easily but loose enough to fit over your knuckle.
  • As your finger is smaller in the mornings or when the day is still colder, measure your finger at the end of the day for a more accurate sizing.
  • Measure your fingers several times, and take the average, for a more accurate measurement.
  • Do not use flimsy or stretchable materials such as paper and string to measure your finger width as such materials produce inaccurate measurements

About Eternity Ring Sizing

Do note that eternity rings cannot be resized, only exchanged within 30 days, as they are made with a specific number of stones. Hence, it is very important for you to know which finger you intend to wear the ring on, and measure it specifically. However, do note that the price of the new ring may be adjusted during exchange, depending on the new size and number of stones.
